Direct Primary Care

Direct Primary Care Services in Carmichael CA

I invite you to discover your best health at my solo concierge/direct primary care practice, now open in Suite 214 of the St. George Medical Building: 6620 Coyle Avenue, Carmichael, CA 95608.

I have chosen the direct primary care (DPC) model so I can continue providing the highly personalized and thorough care my patients deserve. In this model, our visits can last up to an hour, allowing us the time to explore your concerns fully—in a comfortable, unrushed setting. You’ll never feel rushed out the door or like just another chart number. This is medicine the way it should be.

Affordable Membership

This is a membership-based direct primary care practice, providing all your primary health care needs and chronic disease management for an affordable monthly cost between $100–$150 per month.

As of January 2, 2024, membership fees are:

The monthly fee covers as many primary care visits as you need. For many, this approach costs less than traditional insurance-based care—especially once deductibles and co-pays are factored in. While we don’t bill insurance, your coverage still applies to labs, imaging, prescriptions, specialists, or hospital visits.

About Dr. Thomas Reda

Dr. Thomas Reda is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 20 years of experience.

Over the past 10 years, Dr. Reda has focused his practice on the special needs of seniors. In 2022, he took over patient care responsibilities from a much-loved and well-respected internist, and in 2024, he opened his own solo practice under a concierge/direct primary care model.
This membership-based model allows Dr. Reda to limit the size of his patient panel and provide more personalized, attentive care. Patients pay an affordable monthly fee to receive increased access and longer visits—up to an hour in length—in a relaxed, unhurried setting. This approach supports a true therapeutic partnership between doctor and patient.

“In these times of corporate medicine, the physician-patient relationship has become virtually non-existent,” says Dr. Reda.

“I aim to build a good rapport from the beginning with each patient, and in order to take care of their health and wellness, it is vital that we build mutual trust and respect, and take the time to understand their goals and attitudes toward health.”
